There are so many Administration roles available at the moment - the market is ridiculously buoyant, and nearly every business is looking for a candidate who is "organised, confident in Excel, a good team player, great attention to detail".

I'm going to presume you have those things already, otherwise you would not be working in Administration. Also, lists are boring, so let me tell you a bit about the role instead that is available with this Investment firm.

Too many jobs, not enough opportunity! Well, this business are a global organisation, a prime location in Dublin City Centre, a team of 6 who now need solid secretarial/team administration support, and a team who will also support the successful candidate in developing/furthering their career in the investment sector.

As a given, you are proactive, observant. You can pre-empt support that is needed and you are always that one step ahead. You can be in the middle of a pile of reports, jump into another task, but revert back with ease - adapting to the requirements of the team won't phase you in anyway.

Daily tasks will be varied - you will assist the Treasury Manager with accounts payable administration, manage calendars, maintain and update databases and filing systems, review and prepare expense reports, organise travel arrangements and itineraries, assist with banking administration. That is only the tip of the iceberg - your desire to learn, your desire to be involved and your natural inclination to go the extra mile means you will gain exposure to all the functions of this successful office, something you don't often get in an organisation of global scale.

You enjoy understanding what is going on around you and you are assertive, you have a professional demeanour and can also work autonomously, perhaps a background in Business/Legal or Financial Services, administrative/secretarial support experience and you are looking to put that into play in an organisation that will fully support you in your goals, whilst you also fully support them.

Attitude is important in this role, you need to want it. You need to enjoy admin. The successful candidate will be well remunerated, with some extra benefits and perks and a genuine opportunity to quickly leverage their career.
