Job Description

Role: Band 3 Resource Co-ordinator

Rate of Pay: £8.90 per hour

Location: Knockbracken Healthcare Park, Belfast

Hours: 37.5 hours

Duration:reviewed monthly

Main Duties and Responsibilities

· To ensure the timely and effective updating and maintenance of computerised and manual recording and monitoring systems and processes.

· To deal with telephone calls and requests from staff i.e. routine enquiries; leave requests; absence reporting etc., and record same.

· To ensure relevant managers are advised of operational staff cover issues in an efficient and timely manner, following due process.

· To coordinate operational staff cover as required.

· To allocate hours of work for relief staff, following due process

· To provide relevant managers with timely and accurate management information reports relating to recording and monitoring systems as required.

· To provide relevant departments e.g. Human Resources and Payroll, with timely and accurate information as required.

· To liaise with the Regional Ambulance Training Centre as required in order to co-ordinate release of staff to attend identified training events.

Essential Criteria:

· Five GCSE's at Grade C or above, including English/English Language or equivalent educational qualifications plus a minimum of one years' experience working in a call centre environment or similar i.e. in a patient, client or customer-focused environment

Or

· A minimum of two years' experience working in a call centre environment or similar

· A working knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook
