Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify and engage with various suitable stakeholders to participate in process mapping of current and future business processes highlighting risks and issues associated with any changes

  • Working with various stakeholders to gain consensus on project scope to ensure a clear understanding of the areas and activities involved

  • Critically analyse the current delivery of operations and processes to support business process re-engineering and identifying possible technical solutions to problem solving

  • Capture all technical, functional and non-functional requirements using business analysis tools and techniques

  • Develop and maintain all project documentation, monitoring and reporting on performance of activities against milestones and set deadlines

  • Effective relationship building at all levels and development and delivery of communication strategies with business areas to promote and educate on business and/or process changes

  • Delivering high quality service and providing exceptional support to end users during, throughout and following project go-live

Education, Qualifications, Experience & Competencies:

    • 3rd level qualification in a Business or IT related subject
    • 3 years' experience within an application support role

    • Strong technical Business Analyst skills with experience in process mapping techniques, workshop facilitation, requirements gathering, business process definition and improvement
    • Expertise within the software development life cycle with technical project experience in relation to software implementation and a clear understanding of creating and executing test plan

    • Excellent stakeholder management skills and experience in business wide digital transformation and IT business change management project

    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate analyses into business cases which define potential benefits

    • Ability to plan and organise activities and resources taking account of risks and changing circumstances

    • Understand adjustments to strategy and helps others to adjust plans accordingly

    • Strong team member with a positive can-do attitude and a passion for new technology and learning

    • Flexible with the ability to work unsupervised and be adaptive to change in a dynamic working environment, juggling a range of different tasks and willing to work extra hours to meet deadlines

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
