Contact Centre Agent/Clerical Officer | Healthcare | 2-3 month contract

Monday-Sunday Shift Pattern | Dublin 15

The Client: Located in Dublin North, our client is a specialist provider of healthcare services and has a number of locations in the greater Dublin area. They provide 24/7 services and pride themselves on their ability to meet customer needs in a very efficient manner. They are seeking suitably experienced candidates to join their team on a 2-3 month contract basis initially, however, there is a possibility that this role may become long-term, depending on business requirements.

The Role: As Clerical Officer/Call Handler, you will be required to support key functions within the customer service departments. You will be responsible for handling a high volume of incoming and outgoing calls focused appointment setting, quality and compliance and you will also handle internal queries via phone and email. You will ensure policies and procedures are strictly adhered to and implement best practice to ensure SLA's are met. The role will require extensive phone, PC work, data entry and general administration.

Please note: this is a shift based position including evenings and weekends. Typical rosters include two weekends per month. Interested applicants must be available to work between the hours of 8am-10pm Monday to Friday and from 9am-6pm on Saturdays and Sundays (weekend premiums apply).

Contract: 2-3 months but may extend depending on business requirements

Requirements:

  • A minimum education requirement of 5 passes in the Leaving Certificate including a pass in Maths and English (Higher or Ordinary level only, Foundation level subjects will not apply)
  • At least 6-12 months call centre experience required, preferably in a high volume call environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in the use of MS Word and Excel
  • Accurate, high speed data entry skills and good typing skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Strong organisational skills and multi-tasking abilities

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in a contact centre environment an advantage
  • Previous healthcare/medical experience an advantage
