Job Description

Duty/Operations Manager | Hotel | Dublin North

Main Duties of this Role:

  • Actively work with and assist with the management of the hotel's daily operations, ensuring delivery of exceptional guest service from each department
  • Ensure the smooth and efficient operation throughout the food and beverage department
  • Liaise with the Conference and Banqueting department
  • Ensure the highest level of personalised guest attention at all times
  • Drive open communication with Senior Management and Department Heads
  • Manage operational training
  • Ensure prompt resolution of customer complaints
  • To have full knowledge of hotel and all departments
  • Cover reception, bar and restaurant during busy periods
  • Recruit, train and retain a competent and passionate team who go above and beyond to meet customer expectations

Required Skills/Experience:

  • 3 years plus in a similar role
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multi task and prioritise situations
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Strong knowledge of the hospital and food and beverage industry
  • MS Office Proficient
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
