Job Description
Energy Advisor/ Residential Sales
The role:
Reporting to the Sales Manager (Residential Sector), the Energy Advisor is responsible for acquiring new domestic natural gas customers and completing all relevant paperwork accurately. Working within a defined geographic area,the successful candidate will work to achieve agreed targets and adhere to timescales and current processes.
Key Accountabilities:
Acquisition of Owner Occupier customers for the company, and management of subsequent connection process
Project manage conversion schemes
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with the installer network
Create and follow up on sales opportunities within agreed timescales and update details on the CRM system
Responsible for completing all necessary administration required to produce project and customer handover packs
Economic evaluation of projects using in house computer based appraisal system (IUS)
Identification of target areas for potential network development and marketing activities
Represent the company at formal and informal meetings with internal and external stakeholders such as resident's
groups, installers, trade shows and events

* Have a flexible approach to working and be willing to become proficient in all areas of sales operations
Knowledge/Skills & Experience
Essential:
Previous relevant sales experience with a successful track record in a direct sales role
Proven experience in B2C sales
High level of computer literacy, including MS Office, and previous working knowledge of a CRM system
Full UK driving licence
Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise workload efficiently
Ability to present in group situations
Desirable:
Knowledge of the NI Energy market, especially Natural Gas
