Job description

Grafton Recruitment has been appointed as HSCNI's number 1 recruitment provider for Admin, Clerical and Support Services.

Band 4 administrator required on a temporary basis based in Knockbracken Health care park

Rate of Pay: £9.83 per hour

Hours: 37.5 hours

Duration: 3-6 months

Main duties/Responsibilities:

Planning, prioritising and monitoring workload to ensure efficiency and accuracy. Gathering information, proposing solutions and taking action to solve problems to ensure the administration of the EAC Continuous Development Department is managed effectively and efficiently.

Provision of routine system administration for a range of computer systems and databases within the Emergency & Non-Emergency Control Centres. Developing and maintaining effective communication methods to enhance appropriate working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

To provide daily administrative and management information within the CTQIU including the provision of an efficient and confidential administrative service including data inputting and processing, emails, correspondence, diary management etc.

To provide administrative services for specific meetings and projects including organising of meetings, issuing of agendas, supporting documentation and initiating follow-up actions as required. Minute/note taking responsibilities as directed.

Essential Criteria:

    • GCSE Maths and GCSE English (Grades A-C) OR equivalent qualification to demonstrate literacy and numeracy OR higher qualification
  • AND

    2 A Levels or equivalent or higher qualification


    1 year's experience in an office environment


    • 18 months' experience in an office environment
    • RSA Stage II (both parts) typing or word processing or 1 years' word processing experience including audio-typing
    • Experience in the use of Microsoft Word
    • Effective communications skills which will meet the needs of the post in full
    • An ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
    • Ability to manage workload effectively and meet strict deadlines
