Business Analyst | Banking | Dublin |

Our Client, a leading Financial Services Organisation, has an exciting opportunity for a Generalist Business Analyst to join their expanding team. As part of their ambition to be Ireland's most helpful bank, they require the team member to be based in Dublin. This is a temporary on going role.

The successful team member will be working as a Business Analyst within the Transformation Division based in Dublin.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver quality business solutions, including analysis solutions, within agreed time scales
  • Input to the establishment and development of work streams plans

The Ideal Candidate Will Demonstrate The Following:

  • Demonstrable experience (2 years+) within business analysis
  • Experience in a business change environment
  • Working experience on Projects with a deep understanding of data quality and data governance
  • Experience of organising meetings and workshops
  • Good understanding of business analysis/project management methodology and it's practical application
  • High degree of technical fluency - MUST have demonstrated advanced Excel, Word, Powerpoint skills (formulas, lookups, pivots, charting/presentation);
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to present results and findings
  • Basic understanding of project management techniques/methodologies
  • Resilient, able to work to deadlines and flex as project priorities change
  • Ability to use initiative and think creatively

Technical Requirements:

  • To be the link between business users and IT, ensuring that IT understand processes and priorities for requirements while also ensuring that business users respect the integrity and IT development principles in place within the Business.
  • Establish and maintain good relationships with the business, IT and any 3rd party suppliers
  • Strong quantitative skills (data analysis)
  • High degree of technical fluency - MUST have demonstrated advanced Excel, Word, Powerpoint skills (formulas, lookups, pivots, charting/presentation);
  • Some experience of working with web based applications and infrastructures
  • Exposure to systems which make use of Internet and/or Intranet

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience in a Project environment within the Banking or Financial Services sector
  • Having completed or working towards completion of a qualification in Project Management methodologies

This role is a controlled function as defined by the Central Bank Reform Act 2010 Regulations 2011. Any appointee must meet the requirements as set out in the Fitness and Probity Standards issued by the Central Bank
