Job description

Group Payroll Officer

I am urgently looking for an experienced payroll professional with a good understanding of the full payroll process. You should have a strong background in achieving the accurate and timely production of payroll for our client based in Newry

The role

  • Timely processing of weekly/ monthly wages, overtime and other associated payments via payroll software, and compilation of payroll data
  • Reconciling payroll with bank statements
  • Processing Employee's pensions
  • Dealing with all Employee administrative queries in relation to wages/ pensions
  • Filing HMRC returns
  • Providing payroll and associated reports as requested by Management
  • General company administrative assistance
  • Other duties commensurate with the job title as directed by Management

Key skills

  • Minimum 3 years experience using payroll software
  • Experience of sage payroll
  • Competent using Microsoft Office Products in particular Microsoft Excel
  • Effective time management and organisational skills
