Job description

Grafton Recruitment are working in partnership with the Northern Ireland Civil Service to recruit a temporary Information Officer to start ASAP for a duration of 12 months

Pay rate: 0-12 week's £9.00

13+ week's £15.87

Location: Belfast BT4

Hours: 9:00AM- 5:00PM Monday- Friday (37 flexi)

Essential Criteria

  • Workers to be proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • Previous Information Officer experience or Similar

Duties

  • Maintenance and analysis of Energy Stakeholder Register.
  • Further development of Stakeholder Register.
  • Developing forward look communications plan, consulting with business areas and driving the production of relevant communications.
  • Liaising with DfE Press Office to coordinate social media activity in relation to awareness raising of strategic energy issues.
  • Development of RHI Closure project Engagement and Communications approach with associated registers.
  • Reviewing a range of reports, registers and press office analytics to compile summary commentary and graphics for senior managers.
  • Assisting with the development of processes and procedures for recording and sharing strategic energy communications messages among staff in Energy Group. Taking responsibility for augmenting and implementing these processes.
  • Compiling weekly dashboard reporting communications activity and circulating to internal stakeholders following approval from DP/G7.
  • Contributing to internal working groups and meetings as required.

Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders from industry and regulators e.g. Utility Regulator and Consumer Council.
