Integrated Systems & Business Excellence Manager

Belfast

£55,000 depending on experience

We are currently recruiting a Business Excellence Manager on behalf of our exclusive client, a leading manufacturer of specialist products at an exciting time of expansion.

You will implement upkeep & manage the companies ISO Integrated Management System, for Quality, Health & Safety and Environmental. Main duties will include;

  • Develop existing IMS to incorporate the new manufacturing facility and in-house design activities
  • Develop companywide effective and efficient Business Process Procedures in conjunction with the Operations Director and various Department Heads that will allow the company to deliver consistent cost-effective products and services.
  • Manage the resolution of Quality related issues and queries in line with our ISO standards.
  • Work closely with the HR Manger to develop effective Training Plans for all employees and together ensure that training records are always available and up-to date.
  • Work with the Operations Director to develop annual Goals & Objectives that can be cascaded down through department to an individual level that will support the delivery of the companies 5 Year Strategy.
  • Together with the Materials Manager create and implement Supply Level Agreements with all key suppliers ensuring delivery of high-quality materials, products and services.
  • Deliver a company wide cost saving program through Lean and Continuous Improvement in all departments
  • Manage the delivery of the ERP implementation

Requirements

  • Degree educated in a relevant area
  • A minimum of ten years as a Senior Manager covering ISO and Business Excellence within the manufacturing / construction or similar industry
  • Have a practical and a good working knowledge of the UK & Ireland Construction, Health & safety Requirements and best practice construction industry
  • Demonstrate experience implementing IMS within an ISO compliant relevant business.
