Grafton Recruitment is working in partnership with a large public sector organisation to recruit a temporary Library Assistant starting ASAP until 31st March 2019.
Pay rate: £9.42 per hour
Hours: 18 per week
- A minimum of 5 GCSE/GCE O levels at grades A*-C or equivalent, including English and Maths or equivalent/higher qualification.
- At least 1 years' experience of providing a face to face service to a diverse range of the public, which must include evidence of working with children and older people, in a customer focused environment.
- Experience of working in a team environment.
- Under the direction of the line manager the postholder will assist in the delivery of all library services. He/she will be a member of a team of front-line staff providing library services to meet the learning, information, leisure and cultural needs of the local community
