Job description

Essential Criteria

  • Good product range knowledge for MRO and engineering consumables
  • Sales and customer relationship development skills
  • Good Negotiating and purchasing skills
  • Communication skills, literacy and numerical apptitude
  • Knowledge of stock management systems
  • Attention to detail
  • Current driving licence as role requires collection of parts from suppliers
  • Competent in Microsoft Office including Excel

The Role

  • Maintaining stock of fast moving items around the customer's site (stock replenishment)
  • Providing accurate quotes to the customer within the company's extensive range of parts/products
  • Resolving day to day queries
  • Part sourcing
  • Collection of parts from local suppliers
  • General administration
  • High level of customer service
  • Process and manage customer orders from enquiry to delivery
  • Create and maintain efficient management reports
  • Negotiate with suppliers and manage supplier relationships

Hours: 40hpw, 8.30am-5pm Monday to Friday (including half hour unpaid lunch)

Salary: TBC
