Understand and have experience of using probing/ in-cycle control

Develop and release required documentation including industrial engineering specifications, work instructions, MRP updates, tool sheets, logs, packing specifications, forms etc

Manage project risk through effective planning and problem solving techniques

Operator training in both new and amended methods and systems

Lead continuous improvement activities, including the introduction and sharing of technical innovation and improvements.

Provide technical support to other departments and functions, e.g. Supply Chain, Production, Quality.

Respond to customer concerns in a professional and timely manner

Participate in cross functional activity and carry out any other function necessary for the smooth running of the Engineering department

Essential experience

3 years' experience in an engineering and / or manufacturing environment

To include practical experience of CNC machining and one of the following metal fabrication/treatments, protective finishing or assembly
