Mortgage Customer Care Agent, Financial Services/Banking | Fixed-term Contract for 6 months | 30-32k

The Client: Located in Dublin city centre, our client is a leading financial services provider with a well established retail network. Our client is committed to providing simplified financial services solutions to their clients. They are currently experiencing growth in the market with a range of innovative products tailored to suit customer's needs.

The Role: As a Mortgage Customer Care Agent, you will be required to build and maintain customer relationships within the arrears support function. You will be responsible for handling a high volume of outgoing and incoming calls to arrears customers focusing on AML, quality and compliance and you work to agreed revenue targets and SLA's. You will ensure policies and procedures are strictly adhered to and implement best practice. The role will require extensive phone, PC work, data entry and participation in projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain relationships with customers and act as point of contact for a specific portfolio
  • Handle restructure requests on behalf of customers and conduct all associated administration
  • Handle incoming calls relating to requests from third parties and solicitors
  • Analysing customer account information and updating the relevant systems
  • Making recommendations to customers and provide advice on their financial options
  • Follow up with communication to customers and third parties
  • Adhering to team and individual targets

Hours of work: Either 9am-5.15pm or 9.30am-5.45pm Monday to Friday (no late nights or weekends)

Requirements:

  • Accredited Product Advisor in Loans essential (QFA) or fully Qualified Financial Advisor
  • Educated to Leaving Certificate or equivalent standard
  • At least 1-2 years experience in a similar role preferably in financial services
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in the use of MS Word and Excel (experience with financial/banking systems a distinct advantage)
  • Accurate, high speed data entry skills and good typing skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Strong organisational skills and multi-tasking abilities

Desirable:

  • Previous collections experience in a financial services or banking environment
  • Degree in Business or related field (not essential)
