Job Description

Our family run company in the surrounding Ballymena area are looking to recruit an Office Assistant to join their team on a full time permanent basis.

As the Office Assistant, you will be responsible for the supporting the day to day tasks of running a small office. A variety of duties will include:

  • Answering calls and dealing with enquiries
  • Receiving time sheets from workers on site weekly
  • Processing time sheets and putting the information onto portal
  • Order stock
  • Managing fleet daily
  • Prioritising jobs and liaising with engineers and electricians
  • Obtaining and processing all relevant documentation
  • Dealing with incoming mail
  • Processing wages on sage payroll
  • Responsible for pension,quarterly VAT returns, invoicing
  • All office administration as required

Essential Criteria:

  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Candidates will have a good standard of education including literacy and numeracy
  • 2+ years experience within an office environment preferably within an accounts related roles
  • Sage payroll experience
  • Competent excel skills

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience of co ordinating a small office
