Job Description

Our Client in the Portglenone area are looking to Bookkeeper/Office Manager to join their team
£22,0000 - £25,000 - (Depending on Experience)

Main Duties :

  • Using a range of office software, including email, spreadsheets and databases
  • Recording office expenditure and managing the budget
  • Maintaining the condition of the office and arranging for necessary repairs
  • Organising the office layout and maintaining supplies of stationary and equipment
  • Overseeing the recruitment of new staff, sometimes including training and induction
  • Organise the process to carry out staff appraisals, managing performance and disciplining staff
  • Implementing and promoting equality and diversity policy
  • Responding to customer enquiries
  • Arranging regular testing for electrical equipment and safety devices
  • Reviewing and updating health and safety policies and ensuring they are observed

Essential Criteria :

  • 2 years bookkeeping experience
  • Confident personality and good communication skills
  • Experience booking international travel
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Good IT skills, including knowledge of a range of software packages
  • The capacity to prioritise tasks and work under pressure
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing workloads

Desirable Criteria :

  • Experience with Xero and Harvest
