Job Description

Key Duties:

To be the first point of contact both face to face and over the phone to provide clients with professional advice and accurate information with regards to mainly motor and home insurance but also other types of personal lines business;

To build relationships with new and existing clients, maximising on all opportunities;

Taking the appropriate time to understand client's needs;

Responding quickly and effectively to requests;

Providing the right advice in a manner that can be clearly understood;

Arranging cover as agreed with the client and assisting with the processing of MTA and renewal requests;

Striving to deliver an exceptional level of customer care;

Actively identifying other insurance requirements to better serve the client and working as a point of referral with other colleagues and team.

Skills and Experience Requirements

Minimum 12 months recent experience within a similar role within insurance

Confident customer service skills both face to face and over the telephone

Motivated and enthusiastic

Ability to use own initiative and problem solve

Champion great teamwork by helping internal and external colleagues

Have a passion and drive for sales and customer service
