Your time at work
As Abattoir Staff at this site, you will be required to work in the Pork Department
Your daily tasks will mainly involve:
*Working on the slaughter line, using a knife and other equipment
*Perfecting your knife skills
*Adhering to all hygiene requirements
*Carrying out manual handling tasks and using equipment and machinery

To work as a Skilled or Trainee Abattoir Staff at this site, it would be desirable for you to have a background in butchery or have experience working with pork would also be beneficial.
You'll pay high attention to detail and ensure that the quality of products is to the required specification and standards.
You will confidently be able to work with meat, and you'll be happy to complete repetitive tasks while standing for the full shift.
Some training will be provided for this role.
