Job description

Reporting to: Office Manager and Production Manager

Overall purpose of the job: To assist customers throughout the entire sales process

Key activities:

1. Receiving customer's enquiries, establishing customer requirements, calculating cost of enquiry, preparing and issuing quotations

2. Following up on issued quotations to obtain customer feedback

3. Receiving and processing customer's orders

4. Completing AutoCad drawings in accordance with customer's order requirements and forwarding same to customers for approval

5. Liaising with production department regarding customer orders

6. Generation of quality inspection sheets

7. Conducting quality inspections on finished products

8. Generation of delivery dockets and sales invoices

9. Any other reasonable duty

10. Compliance with all company policies and procedures including Health and Safety

Any special requirements:

Hours of work: Monday to Thursday 8.30am - 4.30pm; Friday 8.30am - 3.30pm

  • At least 5 GSCE'S or equivalent
  • At least 1 year's experience in a similar role
  • Great Customer Service Skills
  • Attention to detail
