Sales Manager | Dublin North

My client is a successful company who specialise in energy efficient lighting for commercial clients in Ireland the UK. They provide their clients with a nationwide service to dramatically reduce their existing lighting energy costs. They are in the midst of expansion and are seeking to recruit a Telesales Manager with a proven track record in building a brand new successful team.

Main Duties of this Role:

As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team and helping them generate demand, interest, and excitement while creating a steady pipeline of business across Ireland and UK

  • Focusing on building a new client base of SME businesses across a wide range of market segments
  • Working closely with marketing to build and develop new prospect databases
  • Generate outbound B2B calls, to identify and qualify new opportunities for the business, creating awareness and desire
  • Leading the charge in planning and implementing best practices for lead generation and new business development

Your Day

  • Manage and leading a team that are responsible for outbound prospecting
  • Continuously building and maintaining a knowledge base to become an expert on your products
  • Coach and develop your team on prospect-research, call execution, call planning, sales-skills, and business processes
  • Report on weekly and monthly metrics to leadership
  • Identify and implement recommendations for improvement in the areas of efficiency and productivity
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a positive working relationship

Your Skills and Experience

  • B2B solution/service sales background
  • Ability to demonstrate strong sales achievements in previous role
  • Tangible track record of driving the top line sales growth
  • 2+ years of direct B2B sales experience, 1+ years experience leading a team
  • Demonstrate a "can-do" attitude, with a disciplined approach to sales
  • Ability to motivate and drive sales teams
  • Monitor and measure performance through accurate and timely reports.
  • Professional with first class communication skills
