Job description

Business Systems Training Coordinator - Public Sector

At Grafton Recruitment we currently have a new opportunity available for an experienced Business Systems Training Coordinator to join a prominent Public Sector body.

This role will be offered as a 12 month contract, with a strong possibility of extension upon completion. Due to the nature of this role, it is possible to be based in any of this organisation's regional offices so location should not be an issue if you are interested!

The purpose of this role will be to take responsibility for all training activities in support their operations team, other internal users and a number of external agencies. Ensuring that all stakeholders are fully engaged and involved is a key factor

A significant element of this role is the management and supervision of a team of trainers. A key requirement is to oversee that the team ensures all system training is adapted into standard operating procedures and processes to support the administration of the scheme. The ongoing development and upskilling of the team is also essential.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Oversee all training activities to include extensive training needs analysis, to inform the design and delivery of all training programs required
  • Manage the development and delivery of training programs tailored for different internal and external business users to ensure that all users are fully trained to ensure maximum competencies in their respective
  • Lead the design and development of all training collateral, together with team, which is required to support the administration and successful implementation of all programmes, by all stakeholders
  • Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure training programmes are fit for purpose and to ensure that training is well promoted and well utilised internally in all of the business teams
  • Support the development and maintenance of a library of multi-media support training materials that is readily accessible to users at the point of
  • Determine new requirements from user feedback on systems to be fed back into the programme delivery cycle
  • Lead the training team, supervise work, ensuring effective relations in a team-working
  • Ensure the team enjoys credible relationships within and outside the service.

Applicants will meet the following requirements:

  • Relevant Third Level qualification (e.g. Degree) in project management, business studies, or equivalent is desirable
  • At least 3 years prior experience in delivering group and individual train to business user groups
  • Strong expertise in the design of an end to end training needs analysis, to inform the design and delivery of all training programs required
  • At least 3 years prior experience in delivering group and individual train to business user groups
  • Experience of line management in a training environment
  • Experience in the development of effective document and video training materials
  • Strong relationship building skills across the core business team and external stakeholders
  • Evidence of supporting effective business solutions in CRM that generated measurable returns to the business or increased adoption
  • Evidence of a training or learning and development related accreditation (e.g. CIPD, IITD, QQI, Train the Trainer, JEB)

A salary in the region of €48,000 along with benefits will be on offer to the successful candidate.
