Our Client in the Antrim area are looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant to join their team
Maternity Cover - 12 months +
£9.00p/hr - £10.00p/hr
The successful candidate will process labour only subcontract and purchase ledgers and will assist the Finance Manager in the preparation of management accounts.
The main duties will include:
- Assisting with month end accounts
- Preparation of journals for month end
- Processing the payment of invoices/certificates
- Processing purchase ledger invoices and payments
- Labour-only subcontract administration
- Processing employee expenses
- CIS administration
- Accounting experience
- Excellent IT skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook .
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
- Ability to work to tight reporting deadlines.
- Excellent organisation skills
- Able to produce accurate work
- Accounting Technician or similar qualification would be preferable.
