Job Description


I am looking for a strong accounts assistant with good all round accounting skills in Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger and Credit Control. The successful candidate will have experience processing high volumes of invoices and ideally have knowledge of Sage Line 50. Key Duties:

  • High volume Purchase Ledger
  • Accurate input of purchase invoices
  • Credit notes
  • Supplier queries
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Cheque payments allocation
  • Reconciliation of purchase ledger to nominal ledger
  • Sales Ledger
  • Allocation of customer receipts
  • Credit Control

Key Skills:

  • Experience of High Volume Accounts Payable
  • Experience of Sage
  • Good Excel and MS Office
  • Team Player
  • Ideally some form of accounts study or training
