Job Description

Our client a successful company based in the Dungannon area requires a Book Keeper either part time or full time hours.

Duties will include:

  • Process Sales Orders received from Customers
  • Issue Delivery dockets or daily deliveries
  • Issue invoices to customers once deliveries have been completed
  • Update invoices daily and ensure payments are received for COD transactions
  • Ensure that customer accounts don't go over credit limits and are paid promptly and keep within payment terms
  • Conduct a monthly reconciliation of every bank account-weekly and daily updates to ensure their accuracy
  • Maintain Petty Cash including processing and reconciliation
  • Assemble information for external auditors for the annual audit as requested
  • Maintain an orderly accounting filing system
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to management and other departments as requested or required
  • Answering calls and forwarding them on as required

Criteria Required:

  • The candidate should have a degree or qualification in accounting or business administration or equivalent business experience, as well as a knowledge of book keeping
  • Working knowledge & experience in Sage Accounts 50
  • Working knowledge & experience in Microsoft Excel
  • Must be able to work to deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
