Due to continued growth my client are seeking to recruit a Buyer for their Dungannon site.
As Buyer you will be responsible for all purchasing in the business, to include raw material for production and consumables. You will work cross functionally with departments to determine requirements and introduce new, cost effective supply chains. As Buyer you will be tasked with reducing cost while maintaining quality standards. You will maintain inventory levels and safety stocks to optimum levels.
A salary of up to £25000 is available for the successful Buyer. Hours of work are Monday to Friday and in this Buyer role you will be given the autonomy and flexibility to implement new procedures - perfect for an experienced Buyer who wants to mould their own department.
In order to be successful you should have a minimum of three years experience in a similar Buyer job in the engineering/manufacturing industry. Strong competency in Excel required and proven ability to determine requirements in absence of an MRP system.
