If the answer to either of these is yes I want to hear from you today.

My client are a global business who operate in a number of countries worldwide. You will have a dotted line report to group procurement with autonomy to become involved in buying projects at group level. Responsibilities will include sourcing and buying direct and indirect materials, negotiation of contracts, supplier performance monitoring, materials requirements planning and expediting. This is a key appointment and you will be given more responsibility as you become a more competent Buyer.

In order to apply, you should ideally have previous experience in a similar purchasing position, where you have dealt with global suppliers and negotiated purchasing terms. You should be keen to develop a career in buying/procurement. GCSE English and Maths or equivalent is essential. Exceptional analytical and communication skills are required, as is a flexible approach to work.

In return, you will be rewarded with an industry leading package to include a competitive salary of up to £22000, contributory pension, life assurance, and assistance towards CIPS qualification.
