Job Description

Our well established client in the Antrim area are looking to recruit a Full time Purchase Ledger Supervisor to join their team on a permanent basis -

Mon to Frid - 9am to 5pm

Salary - £19k

The successful individual will be responsible for matching all purchase invoices to a purchase order and receipt whilst checking prices and quantities. They will also be required to sort queries within strict deadlines to ensure that the number of queries is kept to a minimum

Key duties:

  • Match all purchase invoices to purchase orders and to goods received notes
  • Sorting queries with our international employees and suppliers within strict deadlines to ensure that the number of queries is kept to a minimum
  • Ensure that all credits required are received promptly
  • Register Purchase Invoices
  • Reconcile all supplier statements each month
  • Create supplier payments list in line with agreed payment terms
  • Other tasks which may include telephone duties, petty cash, filing and registering invoices.

Essential Criteria:

  • 5 GCSE's Grade C+ including Maths and English
  • experience of purchase invoice processing in a busy accounts departments
  • Computer literature and have a working knowledge of excel and mainframe systems
  • Can work to strict deadlines

  • Good time, attendance and disciplinary records

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience in electronic 3 way matching where the invoice is matched to the purchase order and receipt
  • Experience of sage line 50
