Job Description

We are currently looking for an experienced Cash Administrator to join our client's team on a temporary basis. This role will run until the end of January 2017 and will be based at their head office in the docks area of Belfast. The role will involve collating and processing information and carrying out general administrative duties within the cash office department on a day to day basis.

Hours of work Mon-Fri 0830-1700

Based in Duncrue area

Job Duties

  • To check cash sheets for shops, bars, convenience stores and wholesale

  • To make bacs and cheque payments and deal with enquiries via internet banking

  • To process weekly entertainment payments for bars

  • To carry out bank reconciliations on a weekly and monthly basis

  • To post cash and cheques journals onto the cash system on a weekly basis
  • Any other duties relevant and related to the post

Criteria

  • A minimum of 1 year's work experience in a cash office environment

  • 5 GCSEs including Maths + Eng grade C or above desirable
  • Working knowledge of computers including Excel desirable

  • Working knowledge of bank reconciliations desirable

  • Attention to detail is required

  • Ability to work to strict deadlines, prioritising and planning workload

  • Willing to work within a team as well as an ability to work on your own initiative

  • Good communication skills
