Job Description

Our client, a prestigious conference and events venue in Belfast City Centre, is looking for the ideal candidate to work in a busy kitchen environment as Chef de Partie. You must be qualified to NVQ Level 2 or equivalent with previous experience working as a chef. The candidate will be required on a casual, ad hoc basis.

Essential Experience:

  • Following relevant HACCP and food safety guidelines
  • Knowledge of allergens
  • Food Hygiene Level 2 or above
  • NVQ level 2 or above in professional cookery
  • Preparing, cooking and presenting food in line with required standards
  • Making sure that food is served promptly
  • Monitoring food production to ensure consistent quality and portion size
  • Stock control


  • Keen interest in food and cooking
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • High standards of cleanliness and hygiene
  • Ability to do several tasks at once
  • Creativity and imagination for food presentation
