To remove and repair damaged body panels.
To repair major vehicle body damage.
To repair and replace floor traps and locker doors.
To remove and replace floor covering and windows.
To monitor and repair all necessary body parts.
To prepare vehicle body work for annual re-certification.
To carry out inspections of vehicles /Vehicle inspection checks.
To carryout the administrative duties and assist other members of staff.
Successful candidate must have 2 years post apprenticeship experience in similar role.
Candidate must have recognised bodybuilding/ coach building apprenticeship with NVQ level 3 or equivalent in similar discipline or trade.
Employee will understand customer service in relation to returning vehicles to customers.
Employee will have knowledge of vehicle structures, bodywork repairs, glass fitting, welding, bonding process, drilling and cutting.
Working knowledge of HSE legislation is required.
Ability to work on own initiative with minimum supervision.
Ability to work in team environment is essential.
Candidate will be self motivated and will always carry out the instructions.
Previous experience of working with buses and coaches is desirable.
