Job Description

Job Title: Credit Control (Permanent - Based in Citywest, Co. Dublin)

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Support to Sales Representatives
  • Posting Cash daily on the system
  • Cash Collection by telephone, email and letters.
  • Opening New Accounts
  • Inform new account customers of their credit terms
  • Risk assessment reports on new account customers, analyse reports and determine credit wordiness/terms
  • Processing Credit Notes
  • Maintain Debtors Ledger
  • Complete monthly cash reconciliations
  • Balance system for month end procedure
  • Compile monthly statements & post
  • Assist cash sale customers at reception
  • Process credit/laser card payments
  • Resolve any queries which are obstructing payment
  • Negotiate payment plans
  • Decision making on customers that are overdue
  • Proactive query resolution for key accounts
  • Set up direct debit mandates & process on a daily, weekly & monthly basis
  • Resolution of retuned unpaid cheques or direct debits
  • Reconciliation of customer's accounts
  • Produce hold reports & contact customers for payment in order to release orders
  • Liase with Sales Representatives/Customer Services regarding customers on hold
  • Assist with year-end audit, answer queries and provide documentation
  • Provide holiday back up for AR Department
  • Provide back up to answer incoming calls & distribute. Take messages where required and inform the individual


  • Has done or doing a Credit Management Qualification
  • 3 Years + Experience in Credit Control, dealing in FMCG - Fast Stock Moving

Salary: €32-35K
