Customer Relations Advisor - Banking (QFA)

Grafton Recruitment are currently recruiting a number of Customer Relations Advisors to join one of Ireland's leading Financial Institutions. Based in Dublin 2, this is a full-time, fixed-term contract role for 12 months. Working within the customer relations department, the purpose of this role is to provide support to a number of divisions within the organisation and to investigate all customer queries and complaints received both by phone and email while taking the appropriate measures to ensure a timely response.

The main duties of this exciting role include:

  • Investigate telephone and written customer correspondence and complaints in line with policies and procedures to ensure they are handled in line with the internal process
  • Compile files for all complaints and ensure all queries are dealt with effectively and efficiently and in compliance with regulatory requirements (CPC, CCMA and Data Protection)
  • Liaise with internal departments to ensure relevant documentation for each case is in order
  • Communicate appropriately with customers to ensure a smooth process
  • Participate in weekly team meetings and assist in training needs within the team
  • Identify areas where improvements can be made and detect trends in customer issues

Skills/Experience required:

  • Qualified Financial Advisor or part qualified with a minimum of APA status in Loans and actively engaging in Continuous Professional Development
  • A minimum of 5 passes in the Leaving Certificate including Maths and English (Ordinary Level subjects at a minimum)
  • Previous complaint handling/customer service or financial services experience required
  • Experience in problem solving and team commitment to delivering excellent customer service
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral
  • An ability to build and maintain relationships with customers
  • Strong computer skills including MS Word and Excel
  • A clear understanding of regulatory policies applicable to the complaints department

The salary on offer will be within the region of €28-30k and the working hours will be Monday to Friday 9am-5.30pm.
