Field Sales Executive (Scotland)

Grafton are currently recruiting a Field Sales Executive on behalf of our client an international clothing wholesaler. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven individual to join an established company, developing a wide range of brands with a portfolio of companies. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of commercial success in a competitive B2B environment.

Responsibilities:

* To manage a defined set of accounts within a given territory to ensure the maximisation of sales
* To follow up leads from customers as received through a variety of business channels
* To undertake cold calling business development activities in your territory in order to develop new business
* Maintain a current and accurate knowledge of products
* To ensure that the database, including customer details, is accurate and kept up to date
* To have the ability to meet and exceed set monthly sales targets
* To build strong business relationships with new and existing customers
* Report to the Regional Sales Manager
* Any other duties that may be required to meet the needs of the business

Person Specification:

* 2-3 years sales experience within a competitive sales environment preferably in clothing industry
* Proven track record of delivering to agreed sales and performance targets
* Computer literacy in application of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and the ability to pick up bespoke systems
* Disciplined approach in adhering to internal procedures, systems of administration and data management throughout the selling process
* Experience of building customer relationships and sustainability
* Persuasive, influential and self confident individual with strong interpersonal awareness and communication skills
* Self motivated individual with ability to work under pressure and demonstrate good time management and organisational skills.
* Teamwork - a team player who can play an active role in a dynamic team
* Customer focused/drive to deliver improved customer satisfaction
* Full driving licence
