Job Description

Field Sales Executive- Scotland

Grafton are currently recruiting a Field Sales Executive on behalf of our client an international clothing wholesaler. Working with over 140 brands and more than 5000 products your main objective will be to account manage and increase visibility, distribution and sales of products to both current and prospective customers. As a Field Sales Executive you'll take responsibility for building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision makers.

Responsibilities:

* Managing accounts within your territory to ensure the maximisation of sales
* Follow up customers leads through a variety of business channels
* Undertake cold calling business development activities in order to develop new business
* Ensure that the database is accurate and kept up to date
* Meet and exceed set monthly sales targets
* Build strong business relationships with new and existing customers
* In addition to these functions, the employee is required to carry out other duties as may be reasonably required to meet the needs of the business

Person Specification:

* Computer literacy in application of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and the ability to pick up bespoke systems
* Disciplined approach, following internal procedures, systems of administration and data management
* Experience of building customer relationships
* Persuasive, influential and self-confident individual with strong interpersonal awareness and communication skills
* Self-motivated with ability to work under pressure and demonstrate good time management and organisational skills
* Customer focused/drive to deliver improved customer satisfaction
* Ability to work from home and travel including overnight stays
