Job Description

Position: Finance Administrator

Location: Warrenpoint

Hours: 37.5 Monday - Friday

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading supplier of industrial packaging materials and machines for a Finance Administrator. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven individual to join a growth oriented long established company. The successful candidate will be promoting, managing and developing relationships with a portfolio of companies with the objective of opening new accounts, increasing sales and further strengthening our client's business.


    • Identifying and securing new business opportunities
    • Making pro-active telesales calls
    • Taking orders/enquiries over phone
    • Building and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients
    • Manage accounts accordingly
    • Balancing account
    • Processing sales invoices, receipts and payments
    • Completing VAT returns
    • Preparing invoices for the Inland Revenue
    • Checking company bank statements
    • Preparing cash flow statements
    • Dealing with financial paperwork and filing
    • Maintain a current and accurate knowledge of product
    • Operate the trade counter looking after both trade customers and the general public
    • Provide a consultative approach in dealing with customer requirement
    • Process customer order
    • Identify customer needs and upsell additional products where necessary
    • Represent the company in a professional manner
    • Report activity to directors
    • Any other duties which role may include

Person Specification:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience within a Finance role
  • Experience working with Sage Accounts
  • Proven track record in industrial/commercial sales
  • Proven track record of delivering to agreed sales and performance targets
  • Customer focused approach with ability to show initiative
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Determination to succeed
  • Commercial awareness
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
