Job Description

Financial Reporting Analyst

I am urgently looking for an experienced analyst to work for a large global market leader to support the improvement of the reporting capability within the organisation.

Main Duties

  • Assist with end to end Reporting Review
  • Business Process Improvement through an enhanced reporting
  • Review all transactional and client reporting
  • Recommend establishment of new or modified reporting methods and procedures to improve report content and completeness of information
  • Support finance operations teams in regular reporting cycles
  • Implement processes to ensure knowledge sharing and build training framework
  • Evangelise continuous improvement within finance
  • Driving efficiency gains
  • Design and implement quality control procedures
  • Project management of reporting improvement initiatives within finance
  • Other ad-hoc reporting tasks as required

Key skills:

  • Highly evolved interpersonal skills with the ability forge strong working relationships across all levels of business
  • Attention to detail, self motivate with ability to implement change
  • Advanced analytical and financial reporting skills
  • Advanced excel skills (including complex formulae, pivot tables, vlookup etc)
  • Experience of manipulation/analysis/review/extraction/reporting on large volumes of data
  • Macro building capability, (Use of SQL and BI tools desirable)
