Health & Safety and Systems Manager
Leading Highways Safety and Civils Works Company are looking to recruit a skilled and experienced Health, Safety and Systems Manager.

Ensuring company Health & Safety policies are implemented and adhered to.
Carry out safety inspections on site (checking correct PPE worn, plant certificates, CSR cards etc).
Investigate accidents, incidents and near miss events.
Producing reports to coincide with inspections.
Producing Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
Review relevant company and subcontractors paperwork.
Prepare information for regular site bulletins.
Prepare legislation updates and advisory memos for the site management team and operatives.
Organise employees training courses.
Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum of 4 years' Health & Safety experience gained in Construction or a Construction related discipline
Should have either an IOSH managing safely certificate or NEBOSH construction certificate.
Strong knowledge of Health & Safety on site.
Previous experience in a similar role and the ability to adapt to the specialisms that the company works in.
9001, 14001 and 18001 knowledge and experience.
Demonstrate strong communication, numeracy and literacy skills.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages such as Outlook, Word and Excel.
Your new role
As Systems Manager you will be involved in a variety of duties to ensure the current up keep of multiple accreditation's including ISO 9001/14001 & 18001 amongst further industry related accreditation's. You role will include site visits throughout Northern Ireland and continual improvement of health & safety systems. Duties will include but not be limited to; Maintaining accreditation's and legal documentation, Accident Investigation, improving SHEQ culture and Construction Phase Plans, Pre-Qualification & Tender Documents as well as Site Waste Management Plans.
