Job Description

Our client in the Antrim area are looking to recruit a Human Resources Administrator to join their team on a permanent full time basis

The Role:

Reporting to the HR Business Partner you will be joining a team of HR professionals in supporting the day-to-day running of an extremely busy and dynamic environment. If you are enthusiastic, a self-starter, willing to learn and can work independently then this is the opportunity for you. You will be actively involved in a wide range of generalist HR and Engagement activities that are fully aligned with achieving the company's strategic objectives. You will be involved in a diverse range of tasks which will include but not limited to the following:

  • Maintaining and Developing all personnel records and document systems in a secure manner
  • Managing probationary review process and administration
  • Managing the staff benefits schemes
  • Providing administrative support for hourly paid payroll
  • Collating and analysis of HR metrics reports
  • Providing administrative support for employee engagement activities
  • Providing administrative support for the recruitment and selection process
  • Providing support with employee relations issues to include disciplinary and grievance meetings

Essential Criteria

  • Minimum of 1 year recent experience in a similar HR role
  • Minimum of 5 GCSE's including English and Math
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrating strong administrative, planning and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills is of paramount importance
  • Team Player
  • Must be self-motivated and results driven

Desirable Criteria

  • Third Level Qualification in HR or a related subject
  • Working toward CIPD qualification

  • Experience within a Large Manufacturing Environment
  • Previous experience using Time and Attendance and HR information systems

Salary scale= £17000-£19000 depending on experience
