Job Description

HR Generalist / Payroll

My client are seeking a talented, energetic and experienced Payroll/HR executive to join their professional team.

Payroll:

  • Weekly payroll for 80 employees
  • Importing Clockings from a TMS
  • Processing weekly payroll on Micropay
  • Managing ROS online e.g Tax Credit imports, P45, year-end P35
  • Dealing with payroll queries
  • Posting payroll journals to Accountancy package
  • Tracking holidays for all hourly paid staff
  • Dealing with payroll queries and assisting employees

HR

  • Manage job advertisements
  • Assess candidates
  • Organise/conduct interviews
  • Issue job offers and contracts
  • Liaise with Managers regarding any staff conduct issues
  • Conduct disciplinary meetings etc if necessary
  • Any other duties that may arise

Requirements/Skills

  • Minimum of 5 years in a similar role
  • IPASS would be a distinct advantage
  • Experience in Micropay/Sage Line 50 and MS Excel
  • Ability to manage time and work to strict deadlines
  • Team work and attention to detail
