HR Manager - Mid-Ulster Location - Growing Food Manufacturer

Grafton HR is delighted to be representing a leading food manufacturing organisation based in Mid-Ulster, with the appointment of a HR Manager on a permanent basis.

Reporting to the Finance Director, the HR Manager will lead a small Human Resources Team, providing professional advice, support and guidance to the Directors, Senior Managers, Managers and Supervisors, on a range of Human Resource and Training initiatives.

The Role

As HR Manager, you will be expected to develop and implement company plans with line management, driving a high performance culture and focusing on continuous improvement.

With plans to steadily increase the company's workforce over the next number of years, the role will have a focus on recruitment and talent management, building strong relationships with various Universities and Colleges to help recruit the best calibre of candidate and developing future leaders from a skilled employee base.

Reporting to Financial Director, the successful candidate will provide advice and guidance across all HR related issues within the business.

Your day to day role will cover everything HR related, including performance management, recruitment and selection, employee relations, policy development and training.

The successful candidate will also take full accountability for understanding what is needed to support the high business performance, collaborating with the staff across all functions.

The right fit

The successful HR Manager will have 3 years' experience at HR Manager level, in a fast paced environment, with strong people management experience. The ideal candidate will possess the following experience:

  • 3 years' experience at HR Manager level in a manufacturing / FMCG environment - ideally food manufacturing
  • CIPD qualified
  • Experience of implementing Talent Management strategies
  • Experience of building strong relationships with various Universities and Colleges
