HR Manager Job
Grafton HR is delighted to have been exclusively appointed to assist our client, a leading technology business based in Belfast, with the appointment of a HR Manager job, to provide cover for a period of 9 - 12 months.
The HR Manager will lead and manage the HR function, ensuring the delivery of both strategic and transactional HR initiatives for the Belfast office.
As a member of the management team, the HR Manager will report into the Site Lead, contributing to the overall business & HR strategy, ensuring it is well aligned with the company values.
Key HR duties include design, implementation and review of company policy and procedures, ensuring they are in line with current legislation. The HR Manager will also lead on various HR areas, such as employee relations, including trade union negotiations.
The HR Manager will also focus on attraction and retention strategy and a key focus around will include; remuneration management, ensuring salaries & benefits are in line with industry competitors.
Training and Development will also be a key aspect of the role, ensuring employees are developed and any skills gaps addressed.
- CIPD qualification at Level 5 or above
- 3 years HR experience at HR Advisor level and above
- Experience of managing a HR function, with people management experience
- Ideally, the successful candidate will have worked in a stand alone capacity in the IT industry, although not essential
Whilst this is a HR Manager level role, it may suit an ambitious HR Advisor or Senior HR Advisor looking for an opportunity to step up and gain some exp.
