An exciting opportunity for an Interim Supply Chain Planning Manager with a proven track record in implementing planning systems and business improvement. The Supply Chain Planning Manager job is a project based opportunity created as a direct result of a business acquisition and the need for a less reactive supply chain. My client is keen to speak with Contractors who have experience of designing and implementing planning systems and managing change in fast paced, dynamic manufacturing environments.
As Supply Chain Planning Manager you will work along side the Operations Director and it will be your job to implement a thorough and robust planning function. You will advise on and manage structural change required to create and optimise a supply chain planning function while implementing a rolling 18-month forecast system for the business. You will use your experience to create and execute a specialised planning system which will incorporate a capacity plan so to move the business from a make to order to a make to stock environment. As interim Supply Chain Planning Manager, your job will include reviewing inventory policies and restructuring the S&OP team to facilitate and maintain the Planning department.
This is an interim position for approximately 6 months. Salary/day rate is negotiable dependant on the candidate.
The successful Supply Chain Planning Manager will be educated to degree level and have a proven track record in a similar role. You will have experience of driving change, delivering results and implementation planning tools. Experience of MRP/ERP systems essential. Intermediate Excel is required. Preference will be given to candidates who, as well as the above, hold CIPS qualification and Lean Supply Chain experience.
