Customer Support Technician - Newry

Grafton Technology have been exclusively retained by a dynamic and growing software company based in Newry to retain a Customer Support Technician to join their expanding team.

You'll be volunteering your time to assist our clients experienced colleagues in providing first line support to their customers while learning new skills and insights in your chosen area. This opportunity will help strengthen your CV, build networks and gain new perspectives.

You will also help develop new support materials, such as online user guides, printed guides and videos to maximise our customer's experience. Not only this but you will also be given the opportunity to present webinars to showcase their products and occasional travel to tradeshows or training events may be required.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Educated to degree / HND level OR have 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • Strong IT skills
  • Excellent customer service skills - the ability to be empathetic, accurate, responsive, resourceful and conscientious.
  • Excellent organisational, communication skills, both oral and written
  • Ability and willingness to absorb new information and use it
