Business Developer

My client who are in the music business are seeking candidates who are hungry to succeed and develop their career in a dynamic, energetic and expanding company.

Main Duties:

  1. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the company's service and the wider competitive market place
  2. Generate sales opportunities through identifying prospective clients to introduce our product by means of telephone and emails
  3. Cold calling into prospect companies
  4. Qualify potential opportunities
  5. Maintain a high level of attention to detail managing al respective sales activities (notes, follow-ups, emails and call logs)
  6. Close sales where appropriate
  7. Schedule initial product presentations between prospect and field sales team where appropriate
  8. Respond to inquiries via live chat, email, incoming and outbound calls
  9. Meet personal targets and contribute positively to the company's KPIs

Qualifications:

  • A highly motivated and driven individual not concerned to pick up the phone to find and speak to key decision makers
  • A confident and professional telephone manner, with the ability to clearly communicate with customers
  • Strong negotiating and influencing skills
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Experience of working within a target driven environment would be an advantage
  • 2 years sales-related experience, preferably in a B2B environment
  • Experience with high-volume prospecting through email marketing and cold calling
  • Enthusiasm and a genuine interest in the Music Business
  • Team Player
  • Cold calling experience preferred
  • CRM experience is a plus
