Job Description

Lead Generation Executive

Grafton are currently seeking to recruit a commercially focused Lead Generation Executive on behalf of a leading technology company. This is a fantastic opportunity for the successful candidate to develop and further their career with an exciting, forward thinking and dynamic company. You will work collaboratively with Product Management, Sales Management and Sales Representatives to understand the regional needs of the business, creating and distributing content for the purposes of lead generation.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage with regional sales representatives and sales managers to drive forward lead generation activities in accordance with the 180-day marketing plan
  • Assist sales representatives in researching new contacts, scheduling campaigns, booking visits and undertaking follow-ups via telephone
  • Demonstrate effectiveness of campaigns through reporting, quoting open rates, click through rates and A, B and C leads generated by both region and segment
  • Qualify, categorise and assign inbound leads to the sales funnel
  • Maintain and update internal CRM (SalesLogix) and make use of external solutions such as Campaign Monitor and SalesFusion to generate leads
  • Continuously seek ways to improve processes in terms of time, effort and cost
  • Communicate with prospective customers to understand their queries and direct them to the appropriate sales or sales support team
  • Gain an understanding of the customer base and products, actively and creatively suggesting new activities and incentives to capture leads
  • Any other duties as may be reasonably requested from time to time by your Line Manager, the company, such as attendance at trade shows, participation in special projects etc.

Essential Criteria:

  • A minimum of a HND (or equivalent) in a Science, Business or language discipline with 2+ years in a sales and/or lead generation role or 5 years' experience in a sales and/or lead generation role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Understand customer requirements and focus on delivering solutions to meet those requirements
  • Communicate clearly and concisely with customers
  • Delivering Results and Continuous Improvements
  • Flexible and able to revise a plan when needed, highlight areas for continuous improvement and take ownership to deliver
  • Plan and prioritise workload efficiently and effectively
  • Build regular communication into projects or initiatives and ensure all the relevant people are on board and up to date
  • Communicate in a timely manner

Desirable Criteria:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a scientific or related discipline
  • Experience in a lead generation specific role within a scientific industry
  • Fluent in French language - written and verbal
