The role

The successful Learning & Development Business will sit within the overall HR & OD function, covering a range of responsibility, which includes Learning & Development, Induction, Professional Registrations, Performance Management, Employee Engagement and Wellbeing.

Utilising a pragmatic approach, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing a customer focused, comprehensive support service to the company's employees and management team. The advice and support provided will be in line the organisations policies and procedures, ensuring it complies with legal standards, resulting in a service that adds value to the companies overall HR strategy.

Key areas:

  • Learning & Development: Business Partner with the key stakeholders in relation to Learning and Development needs and priorities; including conducting training Needs Analyses and reviewing Individual Development Plans.
  • Apprenticeship programmes: Manage and develop company apprenticeship programmes
  • Performance Management: Provide guidance and coaching to managers
  • Employee engagement and wellbeing: Support the organisation in the design and implementation of company engagement and wellbeing processes
  • Managerial duties: Provide direct line management to staff including in the areas of; recruitment, induction, probation, supervision, performance management and personal & professional development.

The right fit

  • Degree level qualification and membership of a relevant professional body
  • Full current driving licence
  • 3 years experience of the planning and delivery of training & development programmes
  • Demonstrable experience of delivery solutions in L&D, induction, performance management, employee engagement or employee wellbeing

Desirable

  • Qualified training the trainer qualification
