Manager(Private Banking & Wealth Management)

I am looking for a strong manager with experience of regulatory reporting within advice processes and technical services within the banking industry. Working within the area of providing a comprehensive banking service to private clients and investment & financial planning services to private banking and retail.

The role:
* To manage the Advice Processes & Technical Services team
* Ensure the maintenance and management of the advisory, non-advisory and retail branch distributed regulated advised services and product range and associated advice processes, tools and systems, in accordance with all legal and regulatory requirements
* Responsible for the maintenance and administration of the approved advised services and product range, and associated documentation (T&Cs, brochures etc), ensuring all legal and regulatory requirements are met, in order to satisfy the needs of the customer
* Responsible for the development, maintenance and management of regulated advice processes, procedures, systems and tools, ensuring these are fit for purpose in the regulatory environment
* To ensure customer advisors are provided with technical services support on approved products and the associated documentation, tools, processes and systems
* To ensure that all advice processes, tools and brochureware comply with FSA Principles, Rules & Guidance, all Bank standards, policies, processes and procedures and with all external legal, regulatory requirements
* To support the Senior Manager in the development of strategy and operating plan for Advice Processes and Technical Services function
* To manage implementation of operating plan for Advice Processes and Technical Services
* Leadership, motivation, performance management, coaching and development of reporting staff in order to cultivate and embed a culture that ensures internal and external customers receive a high quality and professional service
* To maintain a high level of awareness and relevant knowledge of developments and practices in regulated advice processes and related investment activities in the UK market
