Job Description

Marketing and Content Manager

Grafton are currently seeking to recruit a Marketing and Content Manager with a proven track record of commercial success in a competitive B2B environment, on behalf of a leading IT company. You will plan, coordinate, assess and report on all marketing activities, with a specific focus on content curation and distribution; management of internal & external resources. You will manage the Marketing Department and be involved in building a successful team.


* From clearly defined strategic plan; design, deliver, adapt and run integrated marketing and content plan for managed services provider (MSP) business in the UK and Ireland;
* Devise appropriate sales messages to generate leads in both Reach and Nurture phases of the Full Funnel Marketing methodology;
* Work with sales team to drive best use of prospect and customer data, develop/monitor KPIs to improve use of marketing data;
* Curate content, coordinate content production, distribute content through channels appropriate to our target audience (social, email, search engine marketing);
* Manage and maintain central calendar and budget for all marketing activity;
* Analyse campaigns and recommend actions to drive performance;
* Manage internal resources for marketing data, events and partner co-marketing activities;
* Manage external resources for lead generation and lead nurturing, Market Research, PR and Web Development;
* Take responsibility for all communications; ensure consistency and pro-active outreach to all key audiences; Provide marketing KPI's for board reports.
* Create a systematic, process-driven approach to partner outreach and relationship management;
* Secure funding from partners and ensure use of such funding in each quarter;
* Deliver a great experience to partners; you will represent our brand and be partners' marketing liaison internally;
* Forecast, measure, and report the results of various marketing projects with partners, including co-created and/or co-branded content promotions, lead sharing, event partnerships, content promotion;
* Analyse potential events on a cost/return per targeted audience basis, agree with sales colleagues and line manager, then build and run calendar and third party organised events;
* Create a plan for each event, including timelines, venues, promotion campaign, vendor support, staffing, service providers, on-site lead generation ideas, and budget;
* Oversee all events.

Person Specification:

* Ability to curate content through reference sources and internal coordination of thoughts/opinions
* Experience of LinkedIn
* Experience in planning and scheduling topics relevant to the target audience, in coordinating the production of relevant content, in assessing its quality, and reformatting it for delivery through diverse channels
* Fluency in communicating via mainstream social channels
* A solid understanding of various B2B lead generation methods, such as Email, SEO, SEM, Marketing Automation
* Seeking a platform to use existing big brand engagement processes and apply them to a high growth environment
* Experience in a technology environment, ideally in IT infrastructure, or cloud technologies
* Excellent written communicator and analytical mind
* Ability to sense relevance to audience, repackage content and develop and utilise swift communications channels
* Involvement in digital marketing and the application of typical CRM strategies is key
* Creative flair with a keen eye for design
* Able to manage people
* A high level of self-motivation together with a willingness to learn new skills
* A flexible and enthusiastic approach to the job
* Good problem solving and decision making skills
