Marketing Executive

Grafton are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading provider of Fire and Security systems for a Marketing Executive. This is a fantastic opportunity to further your career with a forward thinking, dynamic company. You will be responsible for managing and implementing marketing activities, undertaking research to support the sales team and implementing customer care initiatives.


* To manage the company website and digital media, keeping them updated, fresh and relevant
* To manage the production of other marketing materials
* To organise marketing and promotional events, advertisements, PR, seminars etc.
* To develop and implement e-marketing and newsletters to customers
* To implement and monitor customer satisfaction surveys and customer feedback initiatives, analysing results and making recommendations for improvement
* To support the development of a 'CRM' system
* To undertake market research to support the sales team, including research into competitor activity and research to identify and profile potential new customers/influencers and business opportunities
* Where appropriate, to initiate contact with potential new customers/influencers to generate leads for the sales team
* To evaluate the effectiveness and impact of marketing activities and tools, and provide relevant monitoring data and recommendations to the Directors
* To proactively contribute to the development of the company's marketing plans
* Any other duties within reason and capability associated with this role

Essential Criteria:

* Marketing Qualification
* 3 years sales/marketing experience
* Experience across full range of marketing activities (research, developing and managing promotional tools, organising and implementing marketing activities)
* Experience in online and offline marketing
* Experience in managing website and digital media
* Experience in developing and managing printed collateral
* Business awareness/commercial acumen
* Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
* Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise and work to deadlines
* Can work on own initiative without constant supervision
* Good decision making and problem solving skills
* Computer literate
* Commercial acumen and a good understanding of modern marketing and IT systems
* Results focused with ability to work on own initiative
* High level of numeracy and literacy
* Full driving licence

Desirable Criteria:

* Experience in the building services and/or construction sector
